I am based in Tempe, Arizona, and am passionate about improving opportunities for youth aging out of foster care. I am currently a student at Arizona State University studying Business Communications while also working in sales enablement within the fintech industry. Through both my academic and professional work, I aim to serve as an example that foster youth can overcome challenges and build successful, meaningful careers.

I believe that foster youth deserve the same opportunities as everyone else, and because the state acts as their guardian, it carries a responsibility to ensure those opportunities exist. I channel this belief into action through the National Foster Youth Institute, where I focus on expanding job pipelines, career development opportunities, internships, mentorship, and professional networks for young people transitioning out of foster care.

Outside of my advocacy work, I spend my time focusing on career development, travel, and community involvement. I also enjoy salsa dancing and spending time outdoors.

Through the Congressional Leadership Academy, I hope to strengthen my ability to advocate effectively to lawmakers and learn how to translate lived experience into meaningful policy change that creates more equitable opportunities for foster youth.
