Nathaniel Williams

Wyoming Delegate

Nathaniel Williams is from Cheyenne, Wyoming, and is passionate about foster care, youth advocacy, and creating equitable opportunities for all young people. He dedicates his time to leadership through the National Foster Youth Institute (NFYI), statewide youth councils, and community outreach that empowers foster youth to have a voice in policies that affect their lives.

Believing that every young person deserves a voice in shaping their future, Nathaniel channels this belief through NFYI. His focuses include: improving foster care systems, expanding access to resources, and mentoring youth navigating the challenges of foster care. Outside of NFYI, he is actively involved in public speaking, organizing advocacy events, and collaborating with policymakers to drive meaningful change in Wyoming’s child welfare system.

Nathaniel is also dedicated to making an impact on the Wyoming State Advisory Council for Juvenile Justice, where he was appointed by the Governor of Wyoming to serve. In this role, he works to strengthen the state’s juvenile justice and foster care systems, ensuring that youth perspectives are included in decisions that affect their lives.

Through his advocacy, mentorship, and leadership, Nathaniel remains committed to creating lasting, positive change for foster youth across Wyoming and the USA, empowering them to reach their full potential and have a meaningful say in shaping the policies that affect them.
