Lucy Le

Role: Los Angeles Organizing Manager

Background: Lucy has been passionate about community work from a young age, getting involved in volunteering early on. Born and raised in Los Angeles County, she has always prioritized giving back to the community that shaped her.

Her love for policy was sparked during an internship with Senator Barbara Boxer in D.C. during undergrad, and since then, she has spent over a decade working in the nonprofit sector. With experience at CASA of Los Angeles, Alameda County CASA, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, she has focused on volunteer recruitment, community outreach, strengthening community support networks, and advocating for youth.

Lucy graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from the California State University, Northridge in 2016.

Passions/Hobbies/Aspirations: Lucy is a coffee enthusiast and starts everyday by making herself a cup of coffee. What started as a simple money-saving tactic quickly became a full-blown hobby. She is constantly researching and experimenting with new recipes.

Fun Personal Fact: Lucy loves to travel. At the end of her internship in Washington, D.C., she took a solo train ride from D.C. to Los Angeles, with a stop in Chicago. The trip lasted four days and remains one of her favorite experiences to this day.
