Karstyn Sissney

Oklahoma Delegate

Karstyn Sissney is from Oklahoma and is passionate about the already provided pathways youth would have access to after care. They dedicate their time to getting an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development (ECD), working towards a bachelor’s degree in ECD, and working with children in a child development center.

Believing that everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard, Karstyn channels her passion into action through NFYI, focusing on communication that brings people together and works for a common cause. Outside of NFYI, they are also involved in Special Olympics Oklahoma.

Beyond their advocacy work, Karstyn enjoys riding jet skis on the lake and looking for ways to improve as a person. She lives by the motto: “Don’t take life too seriously, you will never get out of it alive.” Through the Congressional Leadership Academy, they hope to gain better communication, adaptability, and leadership to then apply them to everyday life and the job she does while reaching out more in Special Olympics Oklahoma.
