Atiya Osteen

Atiya O’Steen currently resides in Los Angeles, California and is a dedicated college student studying Child Development. She is on track to graduate in the near future, driven by a passion for helping young children and young adults who are at risk of failure within the system.

Atiya’s personal experiences have shaped her mission, in which she has faced challenges within the system since she was just two-years-old. This early encounter with adversity has ignited her commitment to making a difference for those who are often overlooked, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to thrive.

In particular, Atiya is focused on helping young adults transition to independence and adapt to the realities of the real world. She understands that many individuals within the system lack the necessary tools, guidance, and support to navigate life successfully after aging out of care. Her vision is to build an organization or community dedicated to providing these resources and fostering resilience, skill development, and emotional support for those in need.

Through workshops, mentorship programs, and community outreach, Atiya aims to create a safe space where individuals can share their experiences, learn from one another, and feel empowered. She believes that with the right support, young adults can overcome obstacles, adapt to life’s challenges, and build fulfilling futures.
