Amiagh Jade Scott, is from Arizona and is passionate about impacting future generations and advocating for youth who have experienced adversity. She dedicates their time to promoting trauma-informed care and brain health awareness, and focuses on improving support systems for foster youth and other vulnerable youth. Through her work with NFYI, Amiagh actively engages in leadership development and advocacy efforts aimed at strengthening policies that better support young people navigating the foster care system.

Amiagh believes that every youth deserves love, support, and a voice in the policies that shape their lives. She channels her passion into her work with the NFYI initiatives that help create healthier outcomes for youth who have experienced adversity. Her goal is to advocate for systems that recognize the long-term impact of trauma while promoting healing centered approaches for youth and families.

Outside of her work with NFYI, Amiagh remains committed to building stronger communities and supporting youth development. She is passionate about creating spaces where others feel seen, heard, and supported. Beyond her advocacy work, Amiagh enjoys creative outlets such as painting, baking, poetry, and connecting with others through meaningful conversations about growth, healing, and purpose.

Through the Congressional Leadership Academy, Amiagh hopes to gain leadership skills, policy knowledge, and advocacy tools that will help her amplify her impact in advancing trauma-informed care and brain health initiatives that support foster youth and future generations.
