Congressional Briefing: Keeping Families Together

**NEW DATE** In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month and in recognition of the 90,000 Hispanic/LatinX youth in foster care, NFYI will be holding a powerful and important discussion highlighting the positive impacts of Kinship Placement, and the importance of preserving the cultural identity of children and youth while in care. Children and youth who get placed in care often are disconnected from their cultural heritage. Advocates and constituents of the child welfare system have expressed that this disconnect can often lead to losing their cultural identity, beliefs or even their native language. We invite you to join this important discussion.
