Ferre Woodmore

Ferre Woodmore is from Modesto, California and is passionate about foster youth advocacy, juvenile justice, housing instability. They dedicate their time to being a mother and a full time student in college.

Believing that “Your past does not define your future; every step you take is a chance to create a new story. Believe in your strength, embrace your journey, and know that you have the power to rise above and shine,”  Ferre Woodmore channels their passion into action through NFYI, focusing on Homelessness Foster Youth Funding. Outside of NFYI, they are also involved in Stepping Forward LA, Coalition for Responsible Community Development, and  Minority Psychology Network.

Beyond their advocacy work, Ferre Woodmore enjoys atching Netflix movies and lives by the motto: “ The storm doesn’t last forever”. Through the Congressional Leadership Academy, they hope to gain more knowledge on political views of Foster Youth and apply them to the  communities that they work in.
