The Foster Care Mental Health & Housing Symposium, co-hosted by NFYI and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, builds on years of work with current/former foster youth, researchers, elected officials, and funders to address the issues that critically impact current and former foster youth in LA County: mental health care, housing, and substance use prevention. At the event, NFYI will unveil findings from listening sessions held earlier this year with former foster youth from across California, sharing candid stories about accessing resources and services. Attendees will also hear from a panel of experts, including:
