Nadia is a former foster youth who grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has a passion for direct service, and has worked with at-risk youth within educational and recreational programming. Nadia joined AmeriCorps in 2018, which provided her with foundational training and experience in trauma-sensitive schools and trauma-informed care. After completing her service, she moved to Seattle and has taken on several leadership positions and advocacy opportunities within the community.

Nadia aspires to attend law school and work to advocate for policy reform. She hopes to start a nonprofit that engages at-risk youth in recreational programming, building positive relationships with adults and providing a sense of community. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, traveling,  and being a dog mom.
