For 10 years, the National Foster Youth Institute has built a community of current/former foster youth, decision makers, and supporters who have shared one goal: redefining child welfare to make the foster care system a beacon of hope for children and families. In 2021, we celebrate nine years of impact and discuss what comes next as we help create brighter futures for our nation’s children.
NFYI’s 2021 Afternoon of Learning & Celebration included a special award for our founder, Congressmember Karen Bass; performances from our talented members; and a look at what’s to come in 2022.
NFYI would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous support of this year’s Afternoon of Learning & Celebration.
