Regional Coordinator

Tasha Snowden

Tasha is a former foster youth turned child welfare advocate. Tasha has been volunteering with NFYI since 2017, when she first participated in the Congressional Shadow Day Program as a Delegate. She calls it “a life changing experience.” Now, Tasha has returned to act as a Regional Coordinator, supporting first-time NFYI Delegates during the 2022 Congressional Shadow Day Program. 

Tasha has nearly fifteen years of experience of child welfare advocacy at the state and national levels. She currently serves on the Family and community outreach workgroup through the coalition for Social Equity and on the Board of Directors for her local public library. 

Tasha resides in Northeast Pennsylvania with her 8 year old daughter, who she homeschools. In her free time, Tasha enjoys cooking, spending time with her daughter, watching films, and reading.
