Quinnie Stunrod Hernandez

My name is Quinnie Stunrod Hernandez, a proud mother of five and a lifelong advocate for family preservation, equity, and justice. I live in Fontana, California. I am looking to bring real, lived experience into the halls of power.

I grew up in the foster care system and when I turned 18 I was forced to lose contact with all of my siblings. That painful journey didn’t break me—it gave me purpose. It taught me firsthand how our systems fail families, and why we must fight for change.

Today, I stand for every child in the system, every parent working to keep their family together, and every community member who’s been marginalized because of their race, immigration status, gender identity, or mental health struggles. I believe access to quality healthcare, mental health services, and strong support networks should be a right, not a privilege.

I’ve built the family I was once denied, and I’m raising my children with the love, safety, and stability every child deserves. My mission is clear: to end family separation, to protect vulnerable youth, and to create a future where justice and dignity are not negotiable.

This isn’t just political for me—it’s personal. I’m not here to play politics. I’m here to change lives. And I hope to earn your support as we build a stronger, more compassionate future together.
