Nancy received her undergraduate degrees from Washington Adventist University (MD) and is in the process of obtaining her M.A. in Theological Studies from an institution in Washington, D.C.
Prior to becoming an NFYI Fellow, Nancy worked with various nonprofits in the DC metropolitan area. Before that, she received an Aim Higher Fellowship, where she focused on improving foster care programs for transitioning youth. She currently works as a Development and Fundraising Associate for an affordable housing nonprofit organization in Silver Spring, MD.
The National Foster Youth Institute is a youth development organization that lifts up foster youth voices to transform the child welfare system.
