Lauren Roman is a 23-year-old waitress and publicist from the small town of San Pedro, CA. Roman is a part-time student currently attending Long Beach City College where she will be graduating in June of 2024 with an associate’s degree in both Sociology and Psychology. She is a member of LBCC’s Foster Youth program where she regularly participates in workshops with other foster youth scholars. Despite her present passion for research, political advocacy has remained important to her since her involvement in the YMCA Youth and Government program. Her hobbies include gardening, fishing, surfing, yoga, and reading.
