Jewels grew up with an appreciation for food’s power to bring people together thanks in large part to the influence of her mother and grandmother. An accomplished chef who has worked with many high profile clients, Jewels has worked with organizations like Meals-on-Wheels and United Friends of the Children to promote health and nutrition for youth and those in need. In May 2009, Jewels and her sister, Jill, published their debut cookbook, “The Family Chef”.
