As a youth, Jesse spent over a decade in the foster care system. Today, he is a Peer & Community Educator for The Nevada System of Higher Education, where he helps foster youth make a smooth transition from high-school to the college experience.
Jesse also attends the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he is majoring in Psychology and minoring in both Political Science and Business Management. He hopes to one day have a career as a corporate attorney. In the meantime, he’s excited to participate in the NFYI Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day experience!
