Emma is a former foster youth who received her A.A. degree in Liberal Arts and Sociology from Mount San Antonio College and will be graduating with a B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work from California State Polytechnic University in May of 2022. After earning my MSW degree, she plans to continue exploring broad competencies of knowledge and skills while working with clients in all areas of the Child welfare system.
In her free time, Emma enjoys working out and cooking with her son.
The National Foster Youth Institute is a youth development organization that lifts up foster youth voices to transform the child welfare system.
