Cesar Sosa is a 20-year-old Cerritos College student working towards his bachelor’s degree. He has a history of working with foster youth, including being an advocate for California Youth Connection. Cesar is developing his teaching and mentoring skills as a swim instructor and a youth guidance counselor. He’s a member of the speech and debate club at Cerritos College as well as the economics and accounting clubs. His goals for the future are to further his education and continue his advocacy work with foster youth.
The National Foster Youth Institute is a youth development organization that lifts up foster youth voices to transform the child welfare system.
