Born and raised in Las Vegas, Arria is currently a sophomore at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas working towards a master’s degree in Social Work. Arria is actively involved in her Fostering Community through organizations such as NFYI, Clark County Youth Advisory Board, and Foster & Adoptive Youth Together. She is a Fostering Scholar at UNLV and the Fostering Community Club President. Arria’s biggest goal is to motivate those who are currently and formerly in foster care to pursue higher education while advocating for more resources for education. Arria currently works as a resource navigator for iFoster TAY Americorps and a spa coordinator for the Golden Nugget Spa & Salon. Her hobbies include PC gaming and learning ASL and Korean. She has a small family, including her older brother Merak and her younger sister Camara.
