Cody is a native of  Sacramento, Calif. The 25-year-old began advocacy work in 2020. As a Congressional Foster Youth Delegate she hopes to learn more information about policy at the federal level. From learning first-hand from members of Congress, she hopes to start a new journey of self-discovery to determine a new passion for advocacy outside of state policy. During her time in Washington, D.C. Cody hopes to gain more insight into the process of enacting federal change for foster youth. Cody is a first-time parent to an almost two-year-old little girl. Her daughter displays and shares her deep-rooted joy that Cody then gets to share with the world of our youth.
