Crystal is from Atoka, Okla, and started her advocacy in 2018. The 23-year-old hopes to learn more about the foster care system and better understand how the federal government operates and connects to the state government. She would like to help the children and youth in the foster care system learn that they are not alone and ensure they have someone always rooting for them! She hopes  to give back to a program that supported her and helped her grow through the turmoil of her childhood and her mother’s passing. Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
