Miriam “Mimi” Simon

As an NFYI’s remote based member Mimi researches education, community engagement and leadership for youth and communities one state at a time. Bridging the gap between resources and what they have to offer to youth and communities of need. Mimi is specifically based in Washington state, with the goal of informing people nationally, statewide and locally. Mimi was born and raised in Washington, Mimi was bounced around so much she doesn’t claim a specific city or area. Mimi is currently going back to school to finish GED and start an Associates Degree in Ultrasound Tech. This is Mimi’s first position to be able to help and serve youth and the community. Mimi has helped out at food banks in spare time in the summer as a youth. Some personal and professional goals Mimi interests in are finishing school and being able to start my nursing hours. Also being able to connect youth with new opportunities and resources.
