Role: Senior Vice President at Trifecta Entertainment & Media

Kim Sterton is Senior Vice President at Trifecta Entertainment & Media, heading up all distribution and acquisition activities. Kim also consults with Veranda Entertainment as a Founding Partner/Owner. Previously, Kim served as Vice President in the Television Division at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer/United Artists, Inc.

Kim’s interest in the foster youth community began at Pathways to Independence, an 18-36-month residential program offered by The United Friends of the Children in Los Angeles and designed for emancipated foster youth who are at risk of homelessness. Starting as a Wellness Chef in the Pathways’ Life Skills program, she worked with staff to help residents understand how to shop for and prepare healthy meals and worked with the youth each year to produce their own food service booth at UFC’s annual fundraising event. Kim also served on the Pathways to Independence Committee helping to shape Pathways’ policies and business development.

Kim has been a supporter of the National Foster Youth Institute for the last several years and served on the planning committee for NFYI’s 2021 “An Afternoon of Learning and Celebration,” helping to produce an NFYI overview video and a tribute video for NFYI’s 2021 Champion For Children & Youth award recipient, Rep. Karen Bass.
