Cindy is a young lady from New York City currently pursuing her college degree in the medical field. Once Cindy completes her undergrad degree, she intends to continue her education at the masters level. Cindy’s long term career goal is to become a doctor. Cindy also has her own business, called The Balloon Archery, where she creates balloon arches and provides garland services for both events and celebrations. Currently Cindy is employed with iFoster TAY Americorps as a Peer Resource Navigator. In this role Cindy is helping foster youth persist in school, obtain employment, and become independent by connecting them to the resources they need. Cindy also engaged in weekly professional development meetings where her and her team sharpen their skills and share resources. Cindy has a four year old daughter who she inspires everyday.
