The National Foster Youth Institute stands in solidarity with the Asian American Pacific Islander community and offers our love and support to AAPI alumni of foster care.

The recent shootings in Atlanta and rise in attacks on Asians around the country are the direct result of the racism and white supremacy that jeopardize all of us. When they go unchallenged, the result is lost lives, economic destruction, and systems that do not serve those who need them most.

Ensuring that children of color in foster care receive the support they deserve demands that we work to dismantle racism and white supremacy in all forms. And that means doing our part to stand up and #StopAAPIHate.

In solidarity,
